Kioicho, Chiyoda ward, Tokyo ―― This location surrounded by rich greenery of Imperial Palace and the State Guesthouse, was named after the three Edo landlords who located their mansions here. The Kii-Tokugawa family, Owari-Tokugawa family and Hikone-Ii family.
After Meiji era, the imperial family located their residences in this gentle neighborhood. And in 1955, the first Akasaka Prince Hotel opened with 35 guestrooms, renovating the former residence of Yi Un. History was handed over to the new building which was loved by everyone in the name of "Aka-Pri".
Summer of 2016, this location which was always the center of Tokyo from Edo era, will reborn as "Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho".
There are three components in "Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho", 36 story above ground 2 story underground "Kioi Tower" with office / hotel / retail / conference, tangible cultural property designated by Tokyo "The Classic House at Akasaka Prince" which will be the symbol of this town, and 21 story above ground 2 story underground "Kioi Residence" with 135 units. Your new experiences will start in this multi-complex town of trend and vintage.
We have worked on creating rich green environment by connecting the existing greenery of Shimizudani Park through our project to the Benkei moat, in addition to the Imperial palace in the east of the project, and the State Guesthouse in the west.
